December is Seasonal Depression Awareness Month

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD) is a type of depression that is characterized by a seasonal pattern of symptoms.  SAD is also known as seasonal depression or winter depression.

Symptoms: SAD symptoms include mood changes, headaches, fatigue, irritability, anxiety, and difficulty concentrating.  Symptoms usually occur in the fall and winter, and improve in the spring.

If your symptoms don't improve, or even worsen, you should seek professional support.

We are located at 5719 Massachusetts Ave., just northeast of the Main Campus of Eastern Star Church at 5750 E. 30th St., Indianapolis, IN. If you enter the parking lot of the ESC Main Campus, continue to drive north to the CARE Center.
